We are seeking a highly skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at OLD SKOOL WALLS & CEILINGS. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to take their drywall installation skills to the next level.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall in residential and commercial projects. They will work closely with our team to ensure that all installations meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in drywall installation and possess strong knowledge of drywall systems, tools, and materials. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a valid driver's license is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and finish drywall sheets in residential and commercial projects
  • Cut and fit drywall panels around obstacles such as windows and doors
  • Absorbent and smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
  • Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Prepare wall and ceiling layouts and estimate costs and materials
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in drywall installation
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license (preferred)
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Strong knowledge of drywall systems, tools, and materials
