We are seeking a highly skilled OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST to join our team at SE Health. As an occupational therapist, you will be responsible for providing patient management services to patients in acute and long-term care settings. About the Position:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing care and support to patients. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Providing ongoing care and support to patients, including education and guidance on self-management strategies.
  • Maintaining open communication with patients, family members, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active registration and practice permit from the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).
  • Recent experience in managing patients in acute or long-term care rehabilitation programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new computer applications and technology.

Salary and Benefits:

$65,000 - $85,000 per annum, plus comprehensive benefits package.
