Purolator is seeking a skilled Class A Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining delivery vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and service delivery vehicles to meet safety, operational, and productivity standards
- Conduct maintenance and repairs, order parts, document work orders, and communicate with suppliers and operations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot quality control issues, identify root causes, and recommend repairs or changes to vehicle warranty
- Maintain parts inventory, purchase parts, and determine if parts can be rebuilt or repaired
- Coordinate administrative requirements for preventative maintenance and provide emergency road service when vehicles break down
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Trade certification as an Automotive Service Technician (310S)
- 5 years of experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining automotive equipment
- Quebec requires competence card from the parity committee or 3 years of experience with a letter attesting to its competence for a vehicle fleet
- G driver license
