Your Role in the Team:
  • Lead a team of designers and modelers in creating plant models and drawing output for overall plant projects.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality models and drawings with thorough self-checks and formal reviews.
  • Define project team structures and accountability, ensuring effective reporting and planning.
  • Plan and track project activities, commitments, deliverables, resources, and budgets.
  • Perform project and design file health checks, model management, maintenance, and assessment.
  • Support project setup, including execution plans, design coordination, and issue tracking.
  • Maintain models, outputs, and project data according to company standards and project requirements.
  • Foster a learning environment to ensure the team acquires and maintains necessary modeling techniques and processes.
  • Communicate technical and management issues to various stakeholders in a multi-partnership environment.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Support resource forecasting and hiring, develop training and mentorship plans.
  • Establish performance expectations and provide timely feedback for the team.
  • Contribute to proposal and estimate development for future projects.

Requirements:
  • University Degree or College Diploma in engineering, architecture, or equivalent technical discipline.
  • 15 years of experience in relevant work, including technical team leadership.
  • Extensive experience with AutoCAD, Plant3D, and Revit, as well as knowledge of various authoring tools.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial orientation.
  • Detailed knowledge of model-based design (BIM) protocols, standards, and software.
