About the Role


At SUN PHARMA, we are seeking an experienced Senior Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and technical skills to manage and supervise production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of production staff to ensure smooth operation of manufacturing processes and achieve daily/weekly production targets.
  • Coordinate with other supervisors and stakeholders to prioritize tasks, resolve issues, and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and train employees on manufacturing-related SOPs and ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA guidelines, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular quality checks, investigate deviations, and implement corrective actions to maintain high-quality products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management, colleagues, and external partners to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, preferably in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of granulation, blending/mixing, compression, coating, encapsulation equipment, and GMP regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work extended hours, lead by example, and foster a positive team culture.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Sound understanding of cGMP, FDA guidelines, and safety regulations.
  • Able to travel up to 0% for business purposes.
