About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Server to join our team at Ashoka Indian Cuisine. As a key member of our service staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Present bills to customers and process payments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers and make recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Greet patrons, present menus, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
  • Order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware to ensure a well-stocked bar.
  • Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Take orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate preparation and delivery.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
Requirements
  • Experience in a food service environment is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
