Sales and Events Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Events Coordinator to join our team at Shangri-La Vancouver. As a Sales and Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and clients, while also ensuring the smooth execution of events and sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-level support to the sales and events team, including processing reports, RFPs, and contracts.
- Assist in the coordination of events, including banquet event orders, group room reservations, and welcome amenities.
- Manage guest profiles in OPERA, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Run timely statistics reports in OPERA and SALESFORCE.
- Work closely with the sales, events, reservations, and front office teams to ensure seamless execution of events and sales initiatives.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury property.
- Previous sales experience in the Vancouver market is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in a commensurate field of study is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- A competitive salary range of $55,000 - $62,000 per year.
