Business Intelligence Director

Sun Life Financial is seeking a highly skilled Director, Business Intelligence to lead our Group Benefits Analytics team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and delivering analytics business support to our Group Benefits business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage analytics business support for Group Benefits business teams.
- Collaborate with analytics resources across Sun Life to support delivery of initiatives.
- Lead a team of highly skilled employees focused on analytics and data engineering.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of analytical experience with 3+ years of recent experience in business analytics/BI and/or developing and implementing data science techniques.
- 3+ years of leading a data analytics team or equivalent experience as a senior member of a team leading projects and providing managerial support.
- Expert knowledge and experience in data analytics and application in business strategy for effective decision making.
- Proven ability to solve complex business problems.
- Strong inclination to proactively share knowledge and expertise with others to build the data analytics community and capability in the broader company.
- Expert verbal, written, and presentation skills to communicate and frame complex information simply for senior leader decision making.
