Business Intelligence and Analytics Director

Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence and Analytics Director to join our Canadian Business Banking team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business intelligence solutions to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain business intelligence reports and dashboards to provide insights and recommendations to business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data warehousing and business intelligence solutions.
  • Provide data analysis and insights to support business decision-making and strategy development.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, data analysts, and IT teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure Scotiabank remains competitive in the market.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or Statistics.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing business intelligence solutions using Power BI and/or Tableau.
  • Strong technical skills in SQL, SAS, and data warehousing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
