Business Intelligence Director

Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Director to join our Canadian Business Banking team. As a key member of our analytics team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business intelligence solutions to drive business growth and improve decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain business intelligence reports and dashboards to provide insights into business performance and trends.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Design and implement data visualization tools to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work with data infrastructure teams to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and analytics.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or Statistics.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing business intelligence solutions.
  • Strong technical skills in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects.
