Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at Chop Steakhouse & Bar. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for managing the culinary operations of the restaurant, ensuring high-quality dishes are prepared and presented to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage kitchen staff and ensure that all culinary operations run smoothly and efficiently;
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase Canadian cuisine and appeal to our diverse customer base;
  • Maintain inventory levels and manage supplies and equipment to minimize waste and optimize efficiency;
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality;
  • Supervise kitchen maintenance and cleanliness to meet health and safety standards;
  • Work with the management team to plan and execute special events and promotions;
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and overall restaurant profitability.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role;
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or related field;
  • Proven track record of success in menu development, kitchen management, and staff training;
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills;
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include:
