Job Title: Site Superintendent, Construction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Superintendent to join our team at Northcan Construction Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and organize daily construction operations to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to achieve project goals.
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of subcontractors to ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Prepare and manage construction schedules, milestones, and progress reports.
  • Develop and negotiate contractual agreements with clients and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations on construction sites.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of project progress, materials, and labor.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., construction management, engineering).
  • 2+ years of experience in construction management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other construction software.
  • Basic security clearance and bondable.
  • Own vehicle and valid driver's license.
Work Environment:

Our construction sites are located outdoors, and the work environment is fast-paced with tight deadlines.
