Job Title: Heavy Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Heavy Duty Cleaner to join our team at SASKATCHEWAN LTD. As a Heavy Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and visually appealing environment.
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure a safe environment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in cleaning and maintenance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
