Job Title: Heavy Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Heavy Duty Cleaner to join our team at ALL ROUND PROPERTY MANAGEMENT INC.

Job Summary:

The Heavy Duty Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our apartment/condominium complex. This includes sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and debris.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and debris
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform safety and security checks
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
