We are seeking a supportive and caring individual to join our team as a live-in caregiver at a group home for vulnerable individuals. Located in East Gwillimbury, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in people's lives.

The group home provides a safe and supportive environment for residents who have been previously homeless, struggling with addiction issues, or have had their life changed due to disability. As a live-in caregiver, you will play a vital role in helping them regain their independence and achieve their goals.

The salary for this position is $250 per day, which includes all personal meals and two snacks per day, private sleeping quarters with WiFi, and a non-hectic workplace compared to most healthcare settings. You will also have the opportunity to interact daily with 22-25 residents of the home.

As a live-in caregiver, your responsibilities will include preparing and serving daily meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and snacks for the residents, administering resident medications, answering calls/messages, and maintaining a clean kitchen. We require a police vulnerable sector check, First Aid/CPR certification, and a Food Handlers Certificate.

In this role, you will be working closely with the residents to provide support and care that enables them to live independently. Your ability to build strong relationships with the residents and their families will be essential in making a positive impact on their lives.
