Perioperative Nursing Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room department at Mills Memorial Hospital. As a Perioperative Nursing Specialist, you will provide compassionate patient care and extend your nursing knowledge through our training program.
Program Details- The American Operating Room Nurse's (AORN) Periop-101 course is a blended learning program that delivers standardized education on the foundational skills of perioperative nursing.
- The program includes a 7-week course using a blended learning approach and a practicum paired with a preceptor to consolidate skills.
- The course and practicum will prepare nurses to provide safe and competent perioperative nursing care at a novice level.
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Ability to organize work.

- Four weeks vacation with one year of continuous service.
