About the Role:

As a Director, Government Relations and Partnerships, you will play a key role in advancing the company's relationships, reputation, and mission with governments and other strategic partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute integrated plans to drive results in government relations and partnerships
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials and industry partners
  • Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on government relations and partnerships
  • Collaborate with internal teams to advance Hydro One's public policy agenda
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and identify opportunities for Hydro One to advance its interests

Requirements:

  • 10-15 years of experience in government relations, public relations, and communications
  • Strong political acumen and ability to influence outcomes
  • Proven track record of developing and executing effective government relations strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
