Job Summary

As a skilled Internal Medicine Physician, you will be part of a dynamic team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing high-quality care in the beautiful community of Powell River. The Role

  • Engage in both office and hospital-based care, including ER and ward consults, as well as managing a 4-bed ICU.
  • Play a crucial role in stabilizing critically ill patients and coordinating their transfer to tertiary care centers.
  • Benefit from a manageable call requirement, with a rotation of 1 week every 3 weeks.
  • Work out of a shared outpatient office equipped with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and supported by excellent Medical Office Assistants (MOAs).
  • Enjoy a diverse and comprehensive practice, as there are no sub-specialists in town.

Education, Licensing, & Experience:

  • Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License – Full.
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) – Mandatory.
