About the Role

At RhynoCare, we are seeking highly professional and experienced Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to provide exceptional nursing care in long term and acute care facilities located in the Niagara-on-the-lake area.

Job Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity for RPNs to work with a reputable healthcare provider and earn above-average wages with travel compensation and accommodation. The role involves providing nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and within the scope of practice of an RPN.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, utilizing sound nursing practice principles to ensure excellent care delivery.
  • Ensure timely and accessible admissions for residents, including comprehensive orientation to the home and services offered.
  • Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
Requirements
  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Able to work with persons with infectious diseases.
  • BLS Certificate.
  • Valid First Aid & CPR.
  • Proof of current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV), as well as negative TB skin test within one year and Hepatitis B.
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexible shift times, including 8- or 12-hour shifts, and ability to float from unit to unit within a hospital.
  • Reliability and commitment to being placed at agreed-upon facilities/units.
  • Compliance with RhynoCare Healthcare's shift acceptance/cancellation policy.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive travel compensation and accommodation, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.
