Salary

We are currently hiring casual Companion Care Specialists at $22.50 (plus benefits) per hour in Niagara on the Lake. This competitive salary reflects the importance of this role in delivering exceptional care to our clients.

Job Description

As a Companion Care Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to drive clients to various locations as required, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey. You will also provide socialization, conversation, and emotional reassurance, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.

  • Drive clients to appointments, errands, and other destinations, using your vehicle or accompanying them in theirs.
  • Engage clients in conversation, listening actively and responding thoughtfully to their needs and concerns.
  • Assist clients with groceries, parcels, and other tasks, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Observe and report any changes in clients' physical, emotional, or environmental conditions to Spectrum management, enabling us to provide tailored support and care.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Valid G license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Clear driver's abstract, with a good driving record.
  • Class 07 Rider endorsement required, as a condition of employment.
  • Negative TB test within the last year, as a condition of employment.
  • Compassionate and empathetic, with a passion for helping others.
