We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team at National Energy Equipment.

About the Role

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the field and be available to work 30 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
  • Maintain industrial instrumentation and related devices.
  • Replace or repair electrical components.
  • Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
  • Maintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors.
  • Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
  • Maintain inventory of stored material.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Valid certification as an Industrial Electrician.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Working Conditions

The selected candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Bending, crouching, and kneeling are also required. The role involves repetitive tasks, attention to detail, and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
