Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records in a computerized scheduling system
  • Receive and register patients upon arrival, ensuring accurate and complete demographic information
  • Perform referral functions, including data entry and paperwork processing
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient charts and statistics
Requirements
  • Grade 12, plus two (2) years' recent experience in a healthcare setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to keyboard 45 w.p.m.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
