About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at CRAFT FLOORING LIMITED. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality flooring installations that meet their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered, marking them accurately for installation.
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to ensure a smooth installation process.
  • Prepare detailed flooring plans and schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Install carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors to the highest standards.
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings to maintain the integrity of our installations.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for each project, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare floors for installation, removing existing coverings and contaminants as needed.
  • Install carpeting on walls or other surfaces, using direct glue-down or double-bond methods.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires a high level of physical fitness, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling. You will work in a variety of locations, including residential and commercial settings, and may be required to work long hours during peak periods.
