Warehouse Supervisor Job Description

Upper Crust Bakery Express Inc is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordination and Planning: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management on warehouse performance and inventory levels.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery in the warehouse.
  • Staff Training and Development: Arrange for training and development opportunities for warehouse staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Work Scheduling and Assignment: Co-ordinate, assign, and review work tasks to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Operational Logistics: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the warehouse, including inventory management and supply chain coordination.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a warehouse or inventory management role.
  • Permanent employment with a 40-hour workweek.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
