Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician Specialist to provide technical support and service at customer sites across Canada.

About the Role:
  • As a Field Service Technician Specialist, you will be responsible for providing connectivity and hardware troubleshooting and repair services in a positive and professional manner.
  • You will perform tasks such as installing, fishing, dressing cross connect and terminating Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP), co-axial and fibre optic cable, identifying cable pathways, testing and reviewing installed systems, and installing various types of network infrastructure equipment.
  • You will also troubleshoot cabling, hardware and network related issues in the field, operate hand and power tools, and apply proficient computer skills and solid knowledge of computer networking.
Requirements:
  • A minimum university degree with major in information technology or a related program is required.
  • CompTIA A+ Certification is mandatory, along with a minimum 3 - 5 years of experience working in IT field services, with broad exposure to a variety of software and hardware technologies.
  • Experience working in a retail environment with POS systems is required, and familiarity with network equipment is essential.
  • Excellent prioritizing and communication skills are necessary, as well as the ability to travel to customers' sites on short notice over extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary range for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
