Job Description

This position involves supporting individuals with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, yardwork, medication administration, community inclusion, and employment. Training is provided for these tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Class 4 Driver's license must be obtained within the first three months of employment.
  • Lifting and transferring skills are essential.
  • Seizure management training is required.
  • Crisis prevention intervention skills are necessary.
  • MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION IS A MUST.

This is a BCGEU unionized position, Grid Level 10, with a salary range of $25.95-$29.75/hour based on seniority or equivalent experience.

You will work collaboratively with a trained, caring, and trusted professional staff team of over 50 employees who provide quality services and opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities.
