Salary and Benefits

This Full-time (30 hour) permanent position comes with a competitive salary of $20.05 per hour, plus additional compensation of $3.00 per hour wage enhancement from the Ontario government for hours spent directly supporting clients.

Job Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing one-to-one support and group support within the home and community to adults with an Acquired Brain Injury
  • Reporting responsibilities (incident reports, behavioral data collection and verbal reports)
  • Participate in any required training
  • Follow policies and procedures as required

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills, sound behavioral management skills, cognitive problem-solving skills, and proven teamwork abilities.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

  • Post Secondary preferred in Human and Social Services
  • Minimum of three years experience in Human Services field and/or working with people with ABI
  • Current CARE and CPR, First Aid an asset

The individual must also be able to effectively deal with behavioral situations and demonstrate the ability to speak, read, and write English.
