Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Edo Japan - Stonegate Plaza-Grill and Sushi. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and maintain a fast-paced environment.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring that staff are adequately trained and prepared to meet customer demands.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with 30 to 35 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
Work Environment:

Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and ability to work under pressure are essential. Standing for extended periods and maintaining a high level of energy are also required.
