Front Desk Ambassador

With over 30 years of success in the industry, we are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Front Desk Ambassador.
Job Summary:
The Front Desk Ambassador will be the first point of contact for visitors, vendors, and employees, providing a high level of professionalism and courtesy. This role will also involve answering incoming calls, serving as a liaison between clients and staff, and performing various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and vendors with a smile and a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression of the company.
- Answer incoming calls in a professional manner, providing information and forwarding calls as necessary.
- Assist clients and staff with queries and requests, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Receive, sort, and deliver mail and packages, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Index incoming mail, scan, and route to the appropriate employee or upload into various system applications.
- Log and distribute incoming checks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain accurate production activity in the database, providing valuable insights into company performance.
- Prepare and post outbound Canada Post mail and packages, ensuring efficient and cost-effective shipping.
- Maintain files and databases, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
- Support meeting services, including room scheduling, setup, and take-down.
- Manage access cards for the site, including visitor card distribution.
- Oversee inventory levels for office and pantry supplies, ensuring timely reordering and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain copy centers and cafes, providing a comfortable and productive work environment.
- Handle facility and office services tickets in a timely manner, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
- Ensure health and safety protocols are followed at all times, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED, customer service, and office experience preferred.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Professional demeanor, appearance, and attitude, consistently demonstrating a positive and friendly attitude.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Data Entry skills, familiar with MS Office applications (MS Word and MS Excel).
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, ensuring physical ability to perform tasks as required.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
