Food Service Manager

China Garden Restaurant LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of food quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring efficient and safe food handling practices.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accurate inventory management.
- Develop and implement work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and optimal productivity.
- Conduct quality control checks, ensuring that food and service meet our high standards.
- Prepare and submit reports, providing valuable insights into restaurant operations and performance.
- Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries, ensuring seamless communication and execution.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks.
