About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at All Needs Special Care Home Inc. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity are maintained.
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring the client's home is safe and comfortable.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Provide personal care, including assistance with daily living activities, such as dressing and grooming.

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Availability for shift or on-call work, as well as the advertised start date.
  • Legal ability to work in Canada and residency in proximity to the advertised location.
  • Previous experience in the field of employment and possession of the required certifications.
