Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our transportation operations at All Directions Transport. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our transportation team, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods and people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and manage a team of 11-15 transportation professionals
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve transportation efficiency and reduce costs
  • Financial Management
    • Manage a budget of $1,500,001 - $4,000,000
    • Develop and implement financial plans to achieve business objectives
  • Operational Management
    • Oversee the planning and execution of transportation operations
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Represent the company in negotiations and other official functions
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. transportation, logistics, business)
    • 5 years or more of experience in transportation operations management
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and management skills
    • Strong financial management and analytical skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
