About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Damanjeet Gulati-Khokhar. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of our food preparation staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to our staff on job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our quality control standards, maintaining the highest level of excellence in every aspect of our operations.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports on restaurant operations, including staff performance, inventory levels, and quality control metrics.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys, establish work schedules, and lead by example to motivate and inspire our team to achieve their best.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or food service environment.
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 48 hours per week.
