Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at T Enterprises Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
  • Establish work schedules and supervise a team of 5-10 people, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Client focus, flexibility, initiative, and dependability.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
  • Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
  • Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
Support for Youths:
  • Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth.
Support for Indigenous People:
  • Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.

Please note that this is a permanent position with 30 to 40 hours of work per week, and the language of work is English.
