Logistics Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at Clark\u0027s Harbour Seafood Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and arranging for maintenance and repair work.
The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, be able to work efficiently, and possess strong judgement and reliability. They will also be able to plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, and establish work schedules and procedures.
The Logistics Operations Manager will be responsible for requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies, and will have the ability to recruit and hire staff, train workers in duties and policies, and conduct performance reviews.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word, and will be able to work in a team environment. They will also be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
We are looking for a candidate who is accurate, efficient, and organized, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating activities with other work units or departments
- Preparing and submitting reports
- Arranging for maintenance and repair work
- Requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies
- Establishing work schedules and procedures
- Planning, organizing, and overseeing operational logistics
- Recruiting and hiring staff
- Training workers in duties and policies
- Conducting performance reviews
Requirements include:
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
- Permanent employment
- English as the primary language of work
- 35 hours per week
