Logistics Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Clark's Harbour Seafood Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and arranging for maintenance and repair work.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with experience in coordinating activities, preparing reports, and arranging maintenance and repair work. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a team and provide technical advice and recommendations to improve productivity and product quality.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating activities with other work units or departments
- Preparing and submitting reports
- Arranging for maintenance and repair work
- Resolving work problems and providing technical advice
- Recruiting and hiring staff
- Training workers in duties and policies
- Conducting performance reviews
- Coordinating, assigning, and reviewing work
- Requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies
- Establishing work schedules and procedures
- Planning, organizing, and overseeing operational logistics
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word, and will be able to provide excellent oral and written communication skills. They will also be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
