Logistics Director

Atlantic Chican Seafood is a leading seafood company dedicated to delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service. We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team.

We are offering a competitive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per annum for this full-time position. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the supply chain, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to our customers.

• Plan and control budget and expenditures to optimize profit margins.
• Hire, train, direct, and motivate staff to achieve performance targets.
• Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures to minimize costs.
• Evaluate the quality and cost of goods or services provided by suppliers.
• Authorize the development of product specifications and negotiate with suppliers.
• Review and process claims against suppliers in a timely manner.
• Analyze data and information to inform decision-making.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management on supply chain performance.
• Advise senior management on strategic supply chain initiatives.
• Lead sales teams in building relationships with business clients and manage negotiations of sales contracts.
• Organize and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand.
• Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the food industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
