GATE OF INDIA is seeking an experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a specialist in East Indian cuisine, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
This permanent role offers a competitive salary of approximately $40,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as 35-40 hours of work per week.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality presentation and flavor.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence.
- Order supplies and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support when needed.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, optimizing resource utilization.
- Clean kitchen and work areas, upholding health and safety standards.
- Organize buffets and banquets, showcasing culinary expertise.
- Manage kitchen operations, streamlining processes for maximum efficiency.

Requirements- No degree, certificate, or diploma required; however, relevant experience is essential.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant setting.

- Flexibility, reliability, and strong communication skills are crucial for success in this position.
