Job Title: Senior Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Project Manager to join our team at Walton's Woodworking Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and execution of construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and organize daily operations to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates, taking into account various factors such as materials, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems to manage project data and communicate with team members.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schemas, and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Develop and implement quality control programs to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to industry standards.
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform project decisions and optimize outcomes.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure project success.
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in construction project management, with a strong background in planning, organization, and execution.
  • Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's licence and own vehicle, with a strong understanding of transportation and travel requirements.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
