Job Summary:

Drake International is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Coordinator - Customs Specialist to join our team in the Mississauga area. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of customs clearance processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and proofread customs documents, reports, and manifests to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with customs brokers to ensure timely customs entries and seamless transit of freight.
  • Organize and coordinate with the dock team to ensure accurate loading and unloading of freight.
  • Prepare and submit customs declarations and other required documents.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations and laws.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on customs regulations and procedures.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in customs clearance or a related field is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
