Job Title: Retail Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Sales Manager to join our team at TITAN PARTS ABBOTSFORD LTD.

Job Summary:

The Retail Sales Manager will be responsible for leading our retail sales team, driving sales growth, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong understanding of retail operations, sales strategies, and customer behavior.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Manage the Retail Sales Team: Direct and control daily operations, evaluate daily operations, plan and organize daily operations, manage staff and assign duties.
  • Drive Sales Growth: Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the effect of competitors' operations on sales. Determine merchandise and services to be sold, implement price and credits policies, and locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale.
  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Plan and execute marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Manage Budgets and Monitor Revenues and Expenses: Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure the team is operating within budget.
  • Recruit, Hire, and Supervise Staff: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to ensure the team has the necessary skills and expertise to meet sales targets.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail sales or management role.
  • Work Setting: Retail business, retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre.
  • Supervision: 3-4 people.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Analytical, efficiency, integrity.

Support for Visible Minorities:

Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
