We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at CH Logistics. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy trucks.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions and order parts to maintain inventory.
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, ensuring all work meets manufacturers' specifications.
- Keep maintenance reports and documentation up to date.
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and cleanliness.
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work as required.
- Perform repair work on heavy trucks, including emission control systems.
- Verify and repair emission control systems to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity.
- Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Reliability and dependability, with a strong work ethic.
Our work site environment is dusty, hot, and noisy. You will be required to work overtime as needed.
LanguageThe primary language of work is English.
Hours of Work35 hours per week.
