Diesel Mechanic Job Description

At CH Logistics, we are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, diagnosing issues using computerized testing equipment, and performing repairs and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose issues using computerized testing equipment
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Order parts and maintain inventory
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
Work Environment:

The work environment is physically demanding, with dusty, hot, and noisy conditions. You will be required to work overtime and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Reliability and dependability
  • Team player with manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
