We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary Education Professional to join our team at Mountain View Christian Academy Society. As an elementary teacher, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters the academic, social, and emotional growth of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and Lesson Planning: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students, ensuring they meet the curriculum standards.
  • Classroom Management: Establish a well-organized and respectful classroom environment that promotes active learning and encourages students to take ownership of their education.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adjusting instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning community.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of teaching experience, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Provincial or Territorial Teaching Certificate.
