Caregiver PSW Job Summary

The Caregiver PSW provides personalized care and support services to clients in the comfort of their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Companion/Sitter: Provide companionship and social interaction, engaging clients in activities that promote mental and emotional stimulation, such as conversation, reading, or watching movies.
  • Medication Services: Assist clients with medication management, ensuring they take their medications as prescribed by their healthcare provider.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a Personal Support Worker (PSW) or equivalent program
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
