Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Developmental Service Worker to join our team at Private Household. As a Developmental Service Worker, you will provide support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities in a private residence setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide education and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring they meet the requirements for a non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Assist individuals with daily living tasks and provide emotional support to help them develop independence.
  • Work collaboratively with the household team to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all residents.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure their needs are met.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Work Setting

This is a permanent position working in a private residence setting. The work language is English, and the hours of work are 30 to 40 hours per week.
