About the Role
The Plant Manager is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the overall performance of production at our manufacturing site. This role requires a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and quality
- Lead and manage a team of production staff to ensure safe and effective operations
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Conduct regular site audits to identify and address potential safety and quality issues
- Develop and manage budgets to ensure financial targets are met
- Provide regular reporting to senior management on production performance and progress
Requirements
- Previous experience in a production leadership role
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and operations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
