We are seeking a highly skilled Principal User Experience Designer to join our team at Hasbro, a leading global play and entertainment company. As a key member of our Core Team, you will be responsible for defining, designing, and driving player-centric systems for our new AAA multiplayer game in the D&D universe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Player-Centric Design: Understand the player's goals, motivations, and requirements, and provide a seamless experience.
  • Design Logic and Implementation: Develop and implement design logic, flow, and layout of the user interface across the game and gameplay loops.
  • UX Vision and Communication: Define and communicate the UX vision to various teams to ensure consistency throughout the game.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Build functional prototypes and test concept features, eliminate friction points for players.
  • Optimization and Implementation: Determine the optimal inputs, controls, and behaviors to provide the best direction for the player and a consistent user experience.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate actively with various teams (Game design, UI, Audio, Art, Narrative, etc.) and ensure proper implementation of functionalities.
  • Usability Testing and Feedback: Continuously test and adapt your designs based on results, use usability tests and players' feedback to improve overall user experience.
  • UX Innovation: Explore ways to apply the latest UX innovations to the project.
Requirements
  • 10+ Years of Experience: 10+ years of experience in UX design.
  • AAA Game Experience: At least one AAA video game title delivered in a User Experience Designer role.
  • Multiplayer Game Experience: Experience and passion for multiplayer, GaaS, and PVP games is a strong plus.
  • Unreal Engine Experience: Experience with Unreal Engine is a plus.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in French and English.
