About Afimilk, the leading provider of dairy farming technology in New Zealand. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for expanding our presence in the North Island territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hunt for new business opportunities across the North Island, developing quotes and closing sales with targeted farmers for Afimilk's products.
  • Collaborate with the NZ Sales and Business Development Manager for sales forecasting and visibility of business opportunities.
  • Work on lead generation, negotiations, development, and implementation of contracts and agreements for Afimilk's farmers to achieve the best results.
  • Train and mentor Afimilk's dealer organisations on the sale of Afimilk products and solutions.
  • Assist Afimilk's dealers with sales calls and closing of project sales.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness for Afimilk NZ and boost sales in the NZ market.
  • Represent Afimilk at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Utilize Afimilk's CRM software strategically for all dealer and customer interactions.
About You

We are seeking a professional with previous experience working from home and comfortable with frequent travel across the North Island. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A passion for agriculture and the dairy industry.
  • At least 5 years of technical sales experience within the NZ agricultural sector.
  • An impressive history working within the NZ Dairy market.
  • Exposure to dairy farming technology and technology overall.
  • The ability to take ownership and accountability for their workload, asking for help when needed, and prioritizing time effectively.
  • Experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, or the willingness to learn this platform.
  • Professional and ethical behavior in their sales approach.
  • An energy and enthusiasm for the role and the company's collaborative culture.

This is a remote position that requires occasional travel across the North Island. We offer flexible working arrangements, ongoing training, and development opportunities.
