Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Assistant to join our team at Rapid Ground Xpress. This is a permanent position that requires the individual to perform various tasks related to logistics and administration.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for answering telephone calls, maintaining office and warehouse spaces, conducting sales calls, and performing general office duties. They will also set up displays of retail parts and accessories, address customer complaints, advise on the use and appropriateness of goods or parts, handle cash transactions, maintain records, prepare requisition orders, process incoming requisitions, receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts and supplies, and store items in the warehouse or tool room.

Responsibilities:
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages
  • Maintain a clean and organized office, supply area, or warehouse space
  • Conduct sales calls to promote products and services
  • Perform general office duties such as data entry, filing, and correspondence
  • Set up displays of retail parts and accessories in-store and online
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
  • Advise customers on the use and appropriateness of goods or parts
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory control and other relevant information
  • Prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies
  • Process incoming requisitions in a timely and efficient manner
  • Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts, supplies, and materials
  • Store items in the warehouse, tool room, or supply area
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Previous experience in a similar role or willingness to train
Estimated Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is between $40,000 and $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
